In the end,

I understood,

that we weren't meant to be,

maybe because

he wasn't down for forever,

or maybe I wasn't good enough,

or so I thought for a very long time,

and I blamed myself for the mistakes

that he made,

and I apologized for.

Became so desperate, 

and needy,

and started falling apart,

it made me think, 

that all it takes to go through hell,

is one broken heart.

Now that he's gone,

probably laughing,

and making memories,

with someone new right now,

I thank him for the, 

bittersweet memories,

and a life long lesson,

he taught me,

that with time,

either of the two things can happen,

one, that he'll realise that I was worth it,

or two, that I'll realise that he wasn't.
